Miami Florida. On January 20, 2018, the commencement ceremony for the first graduating class of UTH Florida University at the Intercontinental Hotel in Miami, Florida.
During the ceremony, UTH Florida University’s formal commitment to continue supporting and answering to the educational needs of Hispanics who have emigrated to the United States and those who while in their countries of origin wish to obtain a quality education in the United States without the need to leave their countries.
The event became a historical event for the administration, professors and students of UTH Florida University, for being the first distribution of professional degrees issued in the United States by this institution of higher studies.
During the event important aspects were highlighted. Aspects that make UTH Florida University an essential service that responds to the needs of Hispanics eager to continue their professional education in this nation. UTH Florida University offers careers taught in Spanish, online and a degree issued in the United States. UTH Florida University operates under license issued by the Florida Department of Education and the Commission for Independent Education, “FCIE”.
Ron Brenesky, on behalf of Commissioner Bruno Barreiro of Miami-Dade County, was the special guest and presented a plaque that recognized the president of UTH Florida University, Roger Danilo Valladares for his work and contribution to the development and benefit of young Hispanics in our community.
During his speech, Brenesky committed to work towards declaring, through a formal proclamation, UTH Florida University as a valuable instrument to promote the education of Hispanics inside and outside the United States.
The highlight of the agenda was also the delivery of diplomas to the graduates and special recognition to the students who obtained their academic degrees with distinctions of Summa Cum Laude and Magna Cum Laude.
